Sunday, June 30th Riverside residents

Riverside neighborhood residents- Thank you for sharing your streets for what we hope will be a minimally impactful day in terms of hassle for you, but more so will be a fun event that the neighborhood enjoys.

Please reference the map showing the course itself marked in blue with barriers marked in red. The yellow lines represent intersections that are not fully blocked by the race course thus allowing some right or lefthand turns to be made. The orange lines represent designated crossings should you need to get your vehicle out of any alley parking or from the section of 21st between Maple and Pine or the section of Pine between 21st and 22nd. Both of those streets are not immediately on the course but trapped within it. You can still park in front of your home but follow the arrows to make your way to a staffed crossing at 22nd and Pine.

For the aforementioned alleys and Leonard to the north, we’ll have a volunteer move the barrier when it’s safe to do so, you can cross Maple and then carry on towards freedom on Walnut.

You’ll also notice a few intersections where just half of the roadway will have a barrier, specifically alone Walnut at east-west cross streets as well as at Pine and 23rd. The idea here is to discourage access to anyone who does not live on that street since the road is closed just a block away but to allow you the resident to drive around the barrier to park in front of your home.

Speaking of parking, as always we provide our racers with a map showing them where to park and not to park in the hopes of reserving the now limited street parking for residents directly on the course or trapped within it.

If you have any specific questions or concerns feel free to reach out via the information on the flyer we distributed to each home or via the Contact page above.

Saturday, June 29th Northwest neighborhood residents

Northwest neighborhood residents- thank you for once again sharing your streets with us. We’re thrilled to be bringing back another day of bike racing and we hope you are as well.
As usual we are stressing to our racers the importance of leaving the parking nearest to the course closures for the residents who can no longer park on their street.

Please reference the image showing the course itself outlined in blue with barriers in red and still open turns adjacent to the course in yellow.

Many of you impacted directly by the closure have parking in the alleyway. We will again have the course crossings at the alleyway between Grand and Rucker at 15th, as well as between Grand and Rucker at 18th. This route is highlighted in orange on the stage map image. We’d ask that you approach the barrier at 15th or 18th, and then give a short honk to let the nearby corner marshal know you are needing to cross. As soon as is viable we will have someone there to move the barriers and ensure you’re able to cross in a timely manner while keeping the racers on course safe.

Friday, June 28th Businesses and residents

Thank you Downtown Everett businesses and residents for sharing your streets with us. We realize the impacts are not insignificant, so we hope you find either the economic impacts are also not insignificant, or at the very least have a good time watching the bike racing.

Please reference the image for a map of the Downtown roads impacted by the closure. The course itself is highlighted in blue with barricades marked in red. Also marked are yellow lines showing roads that while partially blocked will still allow left or right turns onto the non-blocked road adjacent.

If for whatever reason you feel the need to cross the course with a vehicle at some point during the roughly 4:30 pm to 11:00 pm closure on Friday, June 28th please use the Contact page listed above so we can work out a plan.
